The Mark Lee Special Edition PRS Guitar
Two years ago, Third Day played at Creation Festival. I stopped by the PRS booth and discovered a guitar that I was so excited about that they let me play it onstage THAT NIGHT. The guitar was the PRS SE ONE, and it has become an integral part of my guitar sound over the last couple of years. The concept is simple: one knob, one cutaway,one soapbar pickup for one amazingly cool tone. I’ve been able to get a suprisingly wide array of tones out of the guitar: everything from crusty vintage warmth to modern rock textures.
When the idea was presented of Third Day and PRS partnering together to put out a Mark Lee Special Edition guitar, it was a no brainer. We took an SE ONE and gave it the Third Day treatment, complete with my signature and a “Come Together” logo.
We blew through the first batch, and decided to try something a little different this time around. The latest offering features the special “Revelation Red” finish to match the look and feel of the Revelation album and tour.
