Thanks for taking us along on your factory tour. I hope to see the factory myself one day. I have a PRS Custom 24 20th Anniversary model with a 10 top in antique violin sunburst. I'll tell you, it's just an amazing guitar! It does absolutely anything I want it to. I saw Third Day in concert at Penn State a little over a month ago, and I was particularly impressed with your hollowbody. The piezo pickups gave you a really convincing acoustic tone. I'd also like to try out your signature guitar sometime. Is it still a prototype, or is it in production? There's definitely something to be said for the simplicity of one pickup and a volume knob. Again, thanks, and I'll hope to catch you guys again the next time you're in the western/central PA area.

Good observations there, Wayne. If you've seen me live before, you know that all my other guitars have humbuckers. The soapbar pickups were a big part of what drew me to this guitar in the first place. Very hip and vintage sounding, but they work great for modern sounds too. Yes, there are some noise issues involved with any single coil pickups, but on the Mark Lee guitars I've really only noticed it at ridiculously loud volumes or when I have a lot of effects running.

Hope this answers your question!

very cool ,prs are a class act . just a question what made you chose the p 90 styled single coil pick up rather than a humbucker ? and how does it respond to all the lights ,and other electrical interference , i am not downing your choice just looking for pros and cons .saw you play the brownish one last year on tour it sounded great from my seat.thanks God bless
