I don’t have a full on list of links for you today. As I’m getting the feel of this blog, I’m not sure if doing links is a weekly thing. So it might end up being every other week. What I AM going to do is show you two demo videos of killer guitar products. One you know. Or at least you know I play one. The PRS SE ONE is easily one of my favorite guitars, both for live and studio. In fact the Mark Lee Signature guitar is a tricked out SE ONE with a custom paint job, pickguard, etc. So if you’re thinking about getting a Mark Lee guitar, it might behoove you to check out this little video!

For years I have been on a quest for the ultimate delay pedal. I think I have found a candidate. Check out this video of the hip Empress Superdelay. This is showing off the “reverse” mode, which is but one of several cool things this pedal can do. I just might have to get one of these myself. If I do, look for a review…

Hi Mark,
Love the delay. If I ever achieve a playing level where I can play for pay, this would be a worthy investment. I have an inexpensive delay that I use to practice. I find that it helps with timing and is a nice break from the metronome.

The site says there will be another edition of the Mark Lee PRS as it has already sold out. Do you know when they will be in stock?

Oh man, I've been CRAVING a P90 axe. Our worship leader recently picked up a 90-something Les Paul special and upgraded the Gibby pups to Lollars. I LOVE that thing. 5 bills to get a Mark Lee signature guitar - and it's running a P90 - and it's built by PRS? Man, I think I know where part of our tax refund is going!! Any chance of getting one personally signed?

The Empress delay is awesome, I got to play with one as part of a tourbox awhile back and would put that at or very near the top of the list for quality and useful delay stompboxes. Forgive me plugging a vendor: If you really want one, Mark, give my buddy Brad Fee at Tonefactor (tonefactor.com) a call. Here's their page on the Superdelay .

Oh another thing - I've always wondered on those PRS guitars with the stop tailpiece - how do you deal with intonation? I usually run heavier strings than most (11s on Gibson scale and 12s on Fender scale guitars), and usually need to tweak the intonation to compensate. Having never had a PRS, how do you deal with this?

I don't know what delay pedals you've tried, but I'm interested in the Eventide Timefactor - largely for it's dual delay line features.

Stephanie, I believe we will be taking preorders as early as next week! The guitars will probably ship in late spring.

Mmmm… I have a gear crush on Empress pedals. A buddy just picked up the SuperDelay. Unfortunately he lives in Austin, so I can't borrow it!
