Eddie Van Halen made quite the splash this week. He has created an “indestructible guitar”, and also hinted that Van Halen and Diamond Dave might be working on some new material together.
Speaking of Van Halen, check out this hilarious video of David Lee Roth’s “Running with the Devil” vocals run through Microsoft’s quirky Songsmith application. (I should note that while this is a “positive guitar community” and the devil would be the opposite of “positive”, Microsoft’s Songsmith is so powerful that even a devil song becomes positive. I hope you’re picking up on the sarcasm here.)

Guitar Toybox has a GREAT video of John Mayer demonstrating blues licks in different registers on the guitar. I highly recommend this one! (BTW - am I the only one who thinks Mayer kind of talks like Obama?)
