Dr Z KT-45
I do plan to unfurl my current guitar rig to you in the near future. Problem is, my current guitar rig is still “under construction”. If I posted pictures now, I would have to repost them in about 2 or 3 weeks. So I’ll hold off for now.
What I AM going to do is show this picture of my newest amp. The Dr. Z KT-45 is by far the meanest, gnarliest, hippest sounding amp I’ve ever played. Think of Pete Townshend in a bad mood, and you’re pretty close. I’ve been combining that sound with the Dr. Z Maz 38 for amazingly good results. Between the two amps, I’m able to get a wide variety of sounds, from subtle ballads to sheer rock prowess.
OK, I know I sound like I’m raving here, but it’s that good. I promise. Oh yeah, and the KT-45 that I got is red. Matches the theme of the Revelation record perfectly.
And yes, this is the amp I got through the Mark Lee I’m Buying a Rad Amp Fund effects sale a few weeks ago. Here it is:
